Pinnacle Awards Dinner and Entry Displays
Help us honor the excellence of our colleagues and peers at the 2012 Pinnacle Awards Dinner on May 16th at the newly renovated Indiana Landmarks Center. The dinner will be from 5 to 8 p.m. and will feature the best public relations work from 2011 in a variety of areas, such as social media, marketing communications, annual reports, public service announcements and more. Cost to attend is $35 for members/$40 for non-members. More information on the speaker to come soon!
This year, we want to celebrate all those who entered the Pinnacle Awards. We are offering the chance to display entries during the Pinnacle Awards Dinner. During the cocktail reception, attendees can mix and mingle and check out the displays. Entries should be mounted on 22 X 28 presentation board and delivered to Linda Jackson by May 9, 2012 at 47 S Pennsylvania St, Suite 500, Indianapolis IN 46204. Shank Public Relations Counselors Honored by Ball State University
Shank Public Relations Counselors was honored in April to receive the Ball State University National Public Relations Achievement Award for “…leadership in public relations and their elevation of the status and image of the profession.” Past recipients include Edward Bernays, Pat Jackson, Chet Burger, Howard Chase, Daniel and Richard Edelman, Robert Grupp, and Ginger Hardage.
IPS Education Foundation Call for Volunteers
IPSEF is looking for marketing/PR/communications professionals to get involved in their efforts. Specifically, they are looking for volunteers to work alongside Vice Chair Doran Moreland and Executive Director Linda Broadfoot in a small committee situation. Bateman Case Study Competition
Congratulations to both Ball State University and Butler University “Butler White” for receiving honorable mentions in this year’s Bateman Case Study Competition. Out of 70 entries, 15 entries were awarded honorable mention and three were chosen as finalists.Congratulations to both Ball State University and Butler University for your high achievement in this competitive competition.
